- Merge:
Vinnitsa bombing July 2022 Vinnytsia missile strike into 2022 Vinnytsia attacks. It is preferable to combine because there is already an article and material accessible. DIVINE 11:10, 14 July 2022 (UTC)
- Cmnt: Articles have already been changed names and/or been merged into new articles. Remaining articles are short and somewhat duplicative, and contain apparent forking of the overall action(s) regarding this city's attacks.
- Articles are tagged and are awaiting a merger discussion. Discussion can be found here: >>>HERE<<<. GenQuest "scribble" 02:40, 16 July 2022 (UTC)
- Merge: Idol:_The_Musical into American Idol. During an AfD discussion, I proposed that part of the "musical article" introduction be merged into the main article and the other article redirected. Another editor objected, but their proposal was so similar I failed to see the difference. A long discussion ensued over what constitutes a "merge" and how much it would be permissible to add. The discussion has stalled out. I attempted to get a WP:THIRDOPINION w/ no success. I still want to perform the merger, but not w/o more participation and (hopefully) a clearer consensus. - Merge Fissure (anatomy) into Sulcus (morphology). These are two terms for the same thing. Note that the "Fissure" article is about anatomy/biology and not about other fissures, which are listed in Fissure (disambiguation). Coastside (talk) 19:47, 14 September 2021 (UTC)
- Addendum I have modified the original link, due to a recent page move, to point to the intended page. Note that everything included in the "note" above is now mute.--John Cline (talk) 04:53, 22 September 2021 (UTC)
- Merge : I propose merging Object theory into Object language, as the former article is based around a grave misunderstanding of the latter - it seems somebody had confused the phrase "object theory" for being a distinct area of mathematics, rather than merely a theory (in the sense of Model theory) which is the object of a metatheory (in the sense of Object language). Some authors will use the phrases "object language" and "object theory" synonymously, whereas others will only use the former term in reference to the underlying language of the object theory, absent of rules of inference or axioms - in either case, it certainly isn't whatever the author of Object language seems to be suggesting. - Merge: I propose merging British National (Overseas) passport into British National (Overseas) and British passport. The BN(O) passport article has significant overlap with the other two. Background information for the status itself is covered in great detail in the main BN(O) article. Information like endorsements, physical appearance, and issuance are all dealt with in the British passport article. Given that almost the entire BN(O) passport article duplicates information already detailed in the other two articles, I feel that it should be considered for merging. Additionally, the article contains entire sections that are uncited or very poorly cited and contains non-free images (all UK passport images continue to be covered under Crown copyright). - Merge Talk:List of text-based massively multiplayer online role-playing games into Talk:List of massively multiplayer online role-playing games. I've already merged the text-based article into the latter list as users on both talk pages have proposed in the past. I expected no objections so I was WP:BOLD and just performed this merger myself immediately. However, it's probably useful to merge the talk pages as well, even if the text-based talk page has barely been edited in 11 years, because it could still be useful for others to read in the future, and they probably won't know these comments can be found on the talk page of the redirect. I'm not sure how to do this, I could copypaste it all or cut and paste it all, but maybe there is a better way of chronologically merging them? Nederlandse Leeuw (talk) 21:44, 2 December 2021 (UTC)
- Merge Roman Festival Liberalia into Liberalia. They are the same topic. The first is by far the longest but also the most recently created (on 3 December 2020 by User:Kswizzy42, a student editor at Western Washington University). The second is quite short but much older (2005) so I presume more articles directly link to it. It doesn't look like the student editor's contributions were thoroughly checked by their supervisor. I attempted a merge notice on each article, but I found the whole process very confusing. I'm willing to rewrite both articles as one, as the topic is well within my usual purview. Sorry to add one more request to an already long list Haploidavey (talk) 06:37, 18 June 2022 (UTC)
