Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Dl2000 (talk) 23:05, 21 May 2023 (UTC)
- Hello @Dl2000,
- I removed the maintenance templates from the page->Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, on the basis of fact that, I have added +6,778 bytes of information from different sources, which makes the total number of citings count to 23.
- I have also removed unnecessary parts which I felt sounded like an advertisement, fixed few of the link-rots and also made sufficient inline citings. I completely rewrote the Campus section of the page and also updated the NIRF ranking of the Pharmacy Department (2022) .
- Thus, most likely my edits solve majority of the issues as mentioned in the maintenance templates. Please explain me if I am wrong or give me your advice to remove the templates.
- Thanking you,

- Thanks for this explanation which was missing from your earlier edit. After reviewing the article, a few tags about sourcing can go since most of the article now has citations and and citation gaps can be identified individually. After review, the general bare URL citation notice can go although there is at least a bare URL citation that can be identified individually. However, I'll want to review the article a bit more before clearing up the advertisement and school structure templates. The article still seems to resemble a brochure in places, and could use some review with respect ot guidelines such as WP:NSTUDENTLIFE, and secondary sources. However, the editor who originally added the templates appears to have retired, Hopefully other editors can provide additional review and insight. Dl2000 (talk) 18:58, 22 May 2023 (UTC)
- Hello @Dl2000,
- Thank you for your reply. I would request you to review the article further, so that the article can get rid of the advertisement and school structure templates. Please point out the sections, which can be improved, and I will try to find informations from relevant sources to make that particular sections better. You can also give your personal opinions and suggestions to make this article stand out and get atleast a class of A or GA in the WikiProject article quality grading scheme. If possible, please also leave your IRC id.
- Thanking you,

Hello, Surojit mondal memes
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username MPGuy2824, and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, Ariadaha Kalachand High School, for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.
If you wish to contest the deletion:
- Edit the page
- Remove the text that looks like this:
{{proposed deletion/dated...}}
- Click the button.
If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|MPGuy2824}}
. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!

- Hello @MPGuy2824,
- Thanks for pointing out the problems that are associated with the article Ariadaha Kalachand High School, but it must be remembered that,
- School articles are exempt from speedy deletion criterion A7. (please refer->Wikipedia:WikiProject Schools/Article advice)
- Therefore I have reverted your proposed deletation template as you had given no constructive reason to delete the article. I have also reverted the maintainence template(notability dispute) template as, I have already given 5 inline citings which were indepent, secondary sources.
- See Also
- In practice, articles on high/secondary schools and school districts are usually kept, as they are almost always found to be notable, unless their existence cannot be verified in order to stop hoaxes (refer->Wikipedia:WikiProject Schools/Article advice)
- You are requested to give your views in this matter and your suggestion to improve the page and publish it finally.
- With Regards,

- I didn't apply WP:A7 to the article, but i did WP:PROD it.
- The most up-to-date notability criteria is WP:NSCHOOL, with more explanation at WP:SCHOOLOUTCOMES.
- There are some citations in the article, but they are school databases, and hence aren't counted as WP:SIGCOV.
- Hope that helps! -MPGuy2824 (talk) 04:51, 23 May 2023 (UTC)

Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya. Your edits do not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use your sandbox. One of your sources was for a completely different educational center, whereas the source I provided was directly from the JoSAA. Synorem (talk) 09:19, 29 April 2024 (UTC)
- Hello @Synorem,
- I had provided 3 independent news article links, out of which one of the news article is a national news site - News 18. Now the case is that JoSAA updates their portal once in few years, but that is not even relevant, as NAAC and JoSAA are 2 different organizations, though both are government undertaken. NAAC team had visited GGU within a month and its a well known news everywhere that GGU is now accreciated with A++.
- For further details, refer to NAAC official website : http://naac.gov.in/index.php/en/2-uncategorised/32-accreditation-status
Surojit mondal memes
talk • contribs 14:29, 29 April 2024 (UTC)- The News18 link mentions Jiwaji University receiving an A++ mark. Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya itself is not even mentioned in the article.
- If it is well known news I hope to see this on a more official/reliable source as per WP:RS. You mention JoSAA infrequently updates their information - however the grading they listed was posted just last year.
- Unfortunately the NAAC website is 'unreachable' from the UK/EU. Synorem (talk) 17:28, 29 April 2024 (UTC)
