- When it came up in a discussion at IRC #wikipedia-en-help, I looked at the draft. As best I could determine, the most succinct disambiguator would be (physician), but Wsdst did not like that. Looking into the draft a little deeper, I think a shortish disambiguator that would apply is (MRI radiologist), but Wsdst didn't like that either. What I recommend doing in cases like this is not moving the draft prematurely, but you could add a comment about the existence of name collisions and the need for a disambiguated title and perhaps a disambiguation page. - Thanks for that background. I accepted the draft and I am familiar with the naming rules. For me, I suspect the problem is translation from Chinese to English. I have never heard of the degree "Ph.D. in magnetic resonance imaging" so I suspect that is mistranslated. And all the sources are in Chinese so using Google Translate of those sources doesn't exactly fix the issue. And I'm hesitant to just plop the term "radiologist" into the article since that is a very specific term (it's a type of medical doctor, but I'm not sure if this person went through medical school, which is different from the Ph.D. process). @Wsdst, any thoughts? –Novem Linguae (talk) 12:30, 13 January 2023 (UTC)

Minimum age to purchase guns maps
Hello, Numberguy6! About File:Minimum purchase age of long guns in the United States.svg, that has Illinois in black indicating a minimum age of 21. That's not correct, Illinois does not have a minimum age to purchase a long gun. Hello. Apologies for the multiple posts. I should have figured this out before. By the same logic, File:Minimum purchase age of handguns in the United States.svg should show the minimum age for Illinois as 18, not 21. Illinois prohibits any person under age 18 from possessing a handgun, but someone under 21 can get a FOID card, and use it to buy a handgun, if their parent or legal guardian consents. — Mudwater (Talk) 03:46, 28 February 2023 (UTC)

I believe that this page is in need of some form of protection, there is disruptive editing happening in terms of outsiders claiming candidates are "major" when they are not. Please tell me by what criteria you add a template that an article may be expanded by translation from the German Wikipedia? My understanding is that it's good for stubs, where the German may be 10 times more detailed, but see no reason to add it - an ugly tag - to articles that work in English as they are. Overuse of Expand language template
Hello, please avoid excessive use of the Expand language template. It could be considered WP:TAGBOMBING. It is logical that most Finnish topics can be expanded with something from Finnish or Swedish wiki, Czech topics from Czech or Slovak wiki, etc.; and yet notice that this template is not everywhere, it is not necessary to draw attention to it. It makes no sense to mark all those thousands of Stubs and Starts en masse. You must have noticed that in many pages they have been hanging for years, and in general they do not affect the expansion of the articles, they are just a distraction. And I'm not even talking about the fact that when placing such a tag, you don't take into account the state of the page on the wiki in question – somewhere the information is unsourced, outdated, or too much detailed. When reviewing professor articles, it is a good idea to find their Google Scholar or Scopus profile and take a look at their h-index and number of citations. As a very rough rule of thumb, for most fields, articles on people with a h-index of twenty or more, a first-authored paper with more than a thousand citations, or multiple papers each with more than a hundred citations are likely to be kept at AfD.

November Articles for creation backlog drive
