Thank you

Thanks very much for the newsletter delivery. It is very understandable to be late when there are network problems Kind REgards SriMesh | talk 04:20, 9 September 2008 (UTC)

No problems, I again apologize for my problems, they will not happen again now that I have installed a UPS on the box running the script. — E TCB 04:29, 10 September 2008 (UTC)

Zoocheck

The page Zoocheck was deleted in Jan. for copy right infringement. There was no copy right infringement, Zoocheck Canada owned all of the content and authorized its use on Wikipedia.

Could this page please be restored?

Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Roblaidlaw (talkcontribs) 13:31, 25 September 2008 (UTC)

Hi there. I can restore the article into your userspace, where you can work on the article, conforming with all sourcing requirements followed by moving it back into the article space. I will only do this if an authorized representative of Zoocheck Canada can prove to me that the content will be used on the English Wikipedia with permission. You can send me an email at . Please note that if I do not find that there is enough evidence to perform a restore, you can request a review of the closure at Wikipedia:Deletion review. If you wish, you may go ahead and create a better article about the same subject with no need for review. It is especially wasteful to go to deletion review over an unsourced stub when the alternative of creating a sourced article is available. Thank you. — E TCB 23:27, 25 September 2008 (UTC)

Brisbane Olympic parade

Did you end up making it? YellowMonkey (bananabucket) 07:19, 29 September 2008 (UTC)

Hey there. No, I was called into work late on Thursday night but couldn't get out of it. I will try to attend most other parades in the future, though. — E TCB 09:09, 29 September 2008 (UTC)

Never mind, and related to this, I now need some opinions on a straw poll on the Olympians. Quick and easy. Just select which of the multiple photos of the same person is of the highest quality/least flawed/most appropriate. The link is in the sig. WikiMeetup - Brisbane 2

I am wondering as to whether the second Brisbane meetup took place, if not shouldn't the date and event be re-scheduled as it has gone. If it did, should a third meetup should be planned. Thanks. Hpfan9374 (talk) 02:49, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

No, the meetup did not take place. I have therefore cleaned up the page for a new discussion on the meetup. — E TCB 10:33, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

EBot II

It is unable to archive few SSP entries that are marked as archive for some reason. OhanaUnitedTalk page 14:20, 8 October 2008 (UTC)

*butts in* that would be because whoever added the archive template substituted it so the bot can't tell it needs to be archived. E could you please take a look at this thread about the bot? Thanks --Chris 01:07, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
Does it require only one subst to have a triggered-down effect? Cause I know I never subst {{sspa}} but yet only SOME got archived. OhanaUnitedTalk page 01:37, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
The {{sspa}} template needs to be UNsubstituted ({{sspa}}, not {{subst:sspa}}) to be archived. — E TCB 10:32, 10 October 2008 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Exetel.gif)

Thanks for uploading Image:Exetel.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 04:34, 10 October 2008 (UTC)

Queries on Admin Stats Page

Hi,

I am an undergraduate student currently doing a project on Wikipedia and interested to know the contributions made by administrators on Wikipedia. Regarding the admin stats page, is there a collated database of the information over a time period, from five years ago to present? Is the information subject to vandalism since the page is unprotected? Thanks so much for your help! JacobJacolin (talk) 14:02, 13 October 2008 (UTC)

Hi there. Regarding the collated database, the administrator statistics have been running since July 2007, but this data seems to be only available per the old page history here. There may also be some way you can extract this data from Wikipedia database dumps over the time to compare. The page is edited by the bot most of the time, and there has been no cases of vandalism. The page may be semi-protected, but not fully protected as the bot is not a sysop. If you need any further assistance, don't hesitate to ask. Good luck with your project. — E TCB 06:57, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
I see, i probably will try to look up the revisions, by the way, do you know of any other admin statistics page that has information from an earlier date? Thanks for your time and have a great day!Jacolin (talk) 06:19, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
No, there was no prior administrative statistics page before that from my knowledge. — E TCB 08:42, 16 October 2008 (UTC)

AIV Helperbot 5

I think it's logged itself out - there's a AIV bot editing as the toolserver's IP, and it's not 3 or 7, and according to the bot's userpage, the others are inactive. Please can you check that it's still OK? Thanks, Stwalkerstertalk ] 10:45, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
