Community ban

Per a community discussion initiated on WP:ANI on May 20, 2010 and closed on May 21, 2010, you have been banned from editing Wikipedia by a consensus decision of the Wikipedia community. The temporary location of the ban discussion is Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents#Time for community ban of A Nobody?; I will append a permanent link when the discussion is archived.

I will be changing the block note to note the community ban is in effect.

Community consensus is that your ongoing repeated sockpuppetry was disruptive to the community as a whole and violated the trust of the community.

If you in the future would like to appeal the ban, you may do so by contacting uninvolved administrators to initiate a new community discussion, or you can appeal to the Arbitration Committee. As a return to editing would necessarily require resolving the Arbcom case which they have on hiatus due to your non-participation there, I believe that's necessary in any case, but that's between you and Arbcom.

Non-free rationale for File:Box of tigers milk bars.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Box of tigers milk bars.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Kelly hi! 21:58, 28 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/24.101.156.239, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.
