Hey 7even.up, the general consensus on wikipedia is that we do not change a sportsmans "current club" until the deal actually goes through; in the case of Sánchez, he has still to have his medical and sign his contract which should all take place (hopefully) by Monday. The article will be updated then to reflect this. Cheers, doomgaze (talk) 18:58, 23 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Odgovor[edit]

Pozdrav Gorane.

Pozdrav! FkpCascais (talk) 02:55, 11 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

FkpCascais (talk) 19:57, 4 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Richairo Živković, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Serbian (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Onyilo[edit]

September 2013[edit]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Ronaldo shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. The current date for Ronaldo's birth is the consensus view of the editors working on that article. The explanation for the date is given in the note in the article and in the talk page discussion. If you disagree with the consensus view the appropriate thing to do now is to bring it up for discussion again. Thanks SQGibbon (talk) 19:42, 20 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Watch this[edit]

I do not understand why you don't want to discuss the issue on the talk page. Did you not read the note provided in the article? Did you not read the discussions on the talk page? All of this explains the reason for the discrepancy and why the article uses the date it does. If you are going to participate on Wikipedia then you need to engage in discussion with editors when there is a disagreement. This is basic stuff. Please read the policy on consensus to understand. Also read up on edit warring since this is what you are doing. There is a stable consensus view and your continuously editing against the consensus view of your fellow editors is disruptive.

As to your examples, we are all aware of those claims and have discussed the issue many, many times. You are ignoring all the work that previous editors have put into this. Please stop and take the time to discuss the issue.

If you are not willing to work with your fellow editors then perhaps Wikipedia is not the place for you. SQGibbon (talk) 21:06, 20 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Also, here is the quote from Wensley Clarkson's book 21 Years of Genius and 90 Minutes that Shook the World: "It wasn't until four days later that Nelio scraped together the $10 birth registration fee and, because he wanted to avoid being fined for failing to register it earlier, he declared that his son had been born on 22 September. But there was nothing unusual about this. More than one million births every year in Brazil are not registered at all. Ever since, Ronaldo has celebrated two birthdays every year. As far as his family are concerned, it's on 18 September. Officially, it's 22 September."

I hope this satisfies you. SQGibbon (talk) 21:19, 20 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

7even.up, please be aware that if you continue to revert at Ronaldo an administrator could choose to block your account for WP:Edit warring. You have a user box which says you can participate with a near-native level of English. So there must be other reasons why you so seldom participate on Talk. We look forward to seeing you justifying your proposed change on talk pages and listening to other' responses. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 21:26, 20 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

And if is 22 September official date, why do you keep correcting. I thought that on this site are published official information, but I seem wrong.--7even.up (talk) 21:27, 20 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Ria Popović[edit]

The article Ria Popović has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence this footballer meets WP:GNG or has played in a fully pro league.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
