How to delete redundant images[edit]

If an image is redundant to another image on Wikipedia, and in the same file format, then please tag it with {{isd|new image name.jpg}}. Thanks! Stifle (talk) 17:17, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

But it's really hard to keep up with all the existent templater for modifications and whatnot, is there a page I should check? --2dMadness 21:04, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
There are several categories. Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion has a list at the end for deletion candidates. Stifle (talk) 21:40, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

HI yes I quickly edited your user page because when I was looking through the new pages your name kept appearing in red ink. Often users who don't have a user page do not always write decent categorized artciles and I wanted to distinguish you from the rest. I hope you don't object but take it as a compliment. Good luck editing James Janderson 17:48, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image tagging for Image:Genjuro2.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Genjuro2.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Orphaned fair use image (Image:Haohmaru-calendar.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Haohmaru-calendar.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hello 2dMadness, an automated process has found an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, such as fair use. The image (Image:Pacman arch.png) was found at the following location: User:2dMadness. This image or media will be removed per statement number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media will be replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. The image that was replaced will not be automatically deleted, but it could be deleted at a later date. Articles using the same image should not be affected by my edits. I ask you to please not readd the image to your userpage and could consider finding a replacement image licensed under either the Creative Commons or GFDL license or released to the public domain. Thanks for your attention and cooperation. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 03:58, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

JavaScript RegExp problem[edit]

I noticed you have experience in JavaScript. I'm hoping you can help me with a problem I've run into writing a userscript.

Please see my post at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject JavaScript#Nested RegExp.
