World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE)[edit]

If you want to replace WWE with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), you need to start a discussion on WT:PW. Because almost all of PW articles just use WWE. So if we want to apply a change like that, all articles should use it (not just one article like Jade Cargill[1]). And for removing "As of", there was a discussion] about it. I'm fine with any rewording that does not use "currently". But other editors may revert your edits. --Mann Mann (talk) 10:00, 3 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds good. Currently definitely sounds better and appears more up-to-date, and most other wrestler pages refrain from the "as of" terminology. Секретное общество (talk) 20:40, 3 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry but you misunderstood that discussion. The whole point is the removal of "currently" per MOS:CURRENT and other mentioned policies. That's the reason why we have started using template As of. --Mann Mann (talk) 03:17, 4 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Also the lead is fine. If you see there are many articles with that "currently" issue, you can fix them. But you should not add the very same issue to the already-corrected articles like Jade Cargill. Finally, some more WP guidelines about not using terms like "current" and "currently": Current and MOS:REALTIME. When material in an article may become out of date, follow the Wikipedia:As of guideline... --Mann Mann (talk) 03:33, 4 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Will do. Most wrestlers have the "currently" line, so I'll fix it should I come across any. Секретное общество (talk) 05:25, 4 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Also please don't use unnecessary piped links per MOS:NOPIPE, WP:NOTBROKEN, and WP:NOPIPEDLINK. --Mann Mann (talk) 10:10, 3 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
