Infobox Penetration by Category[edit]
Given a category, say: Churches in Brooklyn, or Synagogues in Manhattan I'd love to see a report that shows which of these articles contains an infobox and which do not.
What I really want to know is what infoboxes are used by these articles; and more:
In addition to the name of the Infobox, how about: First line of the Template
Number of fields used in each article; % of Fields used
better still: How about populating a spreadsheet with data from each infobox...sounds great, but Infoboxes are a disaster. Infoboxes are a mess.
The two infoboxes found on the first 15 synagogues are:
Neither of these are simple Infoboxes, in fact the Religious Building infobox contains a notice: This template employs intricate features of template syntax.
Simplifying Infoboxes...this should be simple; right? Sure.
Find Articles Geographically[edit]
Given a geographic area I want to see what articles lie within that region.
I'd like to be able to specify the area in a number of ways:
- Google Earth
- Open Street Maps
- Google Maps, Bing Maps, etc.
- ARC Tools
- QGis and similar tools
from a list of predefined areas, viz.,
- Country
- State
- Metro Area
- City
- Postal Code
- Telephone Code
- Congressional District and Equiv.
- State & Local political boundaries
- State Senate
- State Legislature
- City Council Districts
- School Districts
- Sewar Districts
- Police, Fire, etc.
- Community Board(s)
- and more
- in fact any area described by a shape file.
How does Photos Requested in Manhattan work?[edit]
I mean how does this category map the locations flagged with this template: {{Image requested|in=Manhattan}}

Given a boundary(ies) what's the output?
- A wikibook
- a user category--is there such a thing?
- a user subpage that's a list of the articles matching the query.

although this is kinda meaningless as it can easily be shrunk; it might even be inflated.
Color or B&W[edit]
- How about number of colors?
- Palette Fit?

- and be able to search all of it.
