I periodically check Wikipedia, so please be patient if I don't immediately respond.

Personal Background[edit]

I have a Bachelor's in Journalism and Creative Writing from the University of Arizona. I planned on writing children's books, but most of my career has been spent in the news industry working for CNN and NBC Universal. I did freelance writing and helped launch small business and artist websites prior to working at these big media companies. While working on the digital side, I pivoted into SEO and audience development. I have been involved in the search industry and optimization of digital platforms since 2007.

I was born and raised in the United States, but my parents were in the Navy so we moved frequently to different bases on both coasts.

I learned Spanish in school and have used it often throughout my career. I am currently learning the Korean language (한국어).

Wikipedia Contributions[edit]

As a digital freelancer on the side, I mostly work with artists or independent brands on their Wikipedia profiles and submit objective facts and information that the public or interested parties would find useful. The work I do on Wikipedia is unpaid, because I'm a journalist and a mom who believes people (especially students) should be able to find information on public figures or companies without having to pay.

If an editor or user has any questions, or if I've gotten something wrong, the best way to contact me is here on my en.wikipedia talk page. I check the talk page periodically for notices. Thanks!
