Todd Leslie

Created by TonyTheTiger (talk). Self-nominated at 00:57, 21 February 2024 (UTC). Post-promotion hook changes for this nom will be logged at Template talk:Did you know nominations/Todd Leslie; consider watching this nomination, if it is successful, until the hook appears on the Main Page.

  • The currently-proposed hook is a bit hard to understand or read. Maybe it can be rephrased to make the context clearer? In addition, context as to who Larry Hisle is may need to be added since not everyone worldwide is familiar with NCAA sports. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 10:38, 27 March 2024 (UTC)
That only makes the hook worse in my opinion. A different angle is probably needed here then. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 23:29, 28 March 2024 (UTC)

General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems
Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation
QPQ: Done.

Overall: Thank you, Narutolovehinata5 for your efforts with the hook, above. And thank you,TonyTheTiger for this very detailed and careful article. It has been well worth publicising Leslie's hard work, his achievements, and his courage in carrying on with an injured knee.

  • Because this nomination was uploaded in February, the 2-QPQ rule does not apply. The single QPQ above is accepted.
  • I have struck ALTs 0 and 1, in response to the discussion above.
  • I have given the article a minor copyedit (no content changed); that does not affect DYK.
Good to go with ALT2. Storye book (talk) 10:32, 11 April 2024 (UTC)
