Matthau's Role[edit]

The article suggests that Walter Matthau had played a character named Marvin Lazar in the original movie, although his character was Morris Buttermaker. Tony Curtis replaced him as the male lead, but not as a particular character. PurpleChez 23:24, 20 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
