Flawed.

The article is deeply flawed. It begins by saying it is about a US tradition from the 30s and associated with partying but then lists many international examples with no connection beyond being academic holidays around the same time of year - many of which pre-date Spring Break and are to do with Easter. So is this article about SB in USA and some other countries, in which case remove the many irrelevant examples? Or is it about a spring/Easter academic holiday, in which case the opening section needs moving to the US entry and a more general replacement added? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.17.70.166 (talk) 13:04, 13 May 2018 (UTC)

I agree. The article confuses US style 'spring break' student partying with the completely normal Easter break which takes place in schools and colleges across the world with no notoriety whatsoever. Once again we have an article on US culture with an annoying "All the world's America" perspective. --Ef80 (talk) 15:31, 20 March 2020 (UTC)
