"Thor manages to dispatch Nul, who is transformed back into Thing, and as Nul, but is seriously wounded, and transported to Asgard to recuperate." I've read this sentence several times but I still can't parse it. "Thor manages to dispatch Nul, who is transformed back into Thing" and "but is seriously wounded, and transported to Asgard to recuperate." both make sense to me (Thor fights Nul, wins, Nul is tranformed into Thing, Thor was wounded in the fight, Thor is taken back to Asgard), but I can't figure out what "and as Nul" is supposed to be modifying or referencing.
