lorcin model l25 handgun[edit]

The slide does not pull back far enough to eject shell and load a new one.

I purchased this gun new several years ago and just now have tried to use it. I have gone thru the disassembly and reassembly (instructions online) and the slide still does not pull back far enough. Any suggestions on what to do to fix this?\
