Recommend deleting speech issue[edit]
Just because an advocacy organization is involved in the speech issue (2010) does not mean it needs to be covered in this article. There is no third-party RS, and it does not seem that notable - little to no followup. Let's not weight these articles down.Parkwells (talk) 19:57, 11 March 2014 (UTC)
I recommend the following stay deleted: On March 29, 2010, an instructor threatened a 29-year-old student with detention (not a punishment at the college) for swearing outside of class. At a subsequent hearing, the student was barred from his course by the college, and was issued demerits. The student has requested help from the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education to fight the punishment, claiming being barred for speech outside classes was unconstitutional.[1][2]Parkwells (talk) 19:57, 11 March 2014 (UTC)
