Energy consumption[edit]
"consume around 3-4 kW/h " kW per hour doesn't make sense, that's power per hour. It could be kWh (energy) per crossing or kWh per year.Teeschmid (talk) 13:02, 26 November 2017 (UTC)
- Why wouldn't that make sense? Consuming a certain amount of energy per hour? True, it could be written also as kWh and not kW/h, but nonetheless, it means that running the engine takes 3-4kW for every hour of operation. Aceman87 (talk) 13:38, 16 December 2017 (UTC)
- Dear Aceman87, you are miggling up Power (measured in Watt) and Energy (measured in Joules, one Joule being one Watt-second, (or measured in (Kilo-)Watt-hours or British Termal Units BTU or whatever)). See: paragraph on confusion. Teho ei ole sama kuuten Energia. Teeschmid (talk) 09:51, 17 July 2018 (UTC)
