The following info (original article's content) appeared to be a nearly complete fabrication. I'm looking for more info regarding his family but haven't found anything significant yet:

As a child in Mexico City, he lived a hard life working in tobacco farms and selling socks on the streets. He never went to school as a young child, but did learn many ideas about life from his older brother, Alfonzo Constanzo. When Adolfo was 12 years old, both of his parents died in a car crash. Left with no other choice, Alfonzo raised Adolfo the best that he could. They both started getting into drug dealings when Adolfo was about 15.

A few years later they both got caught selling cocaine on the streets of Mexico City, and were sent to jail for 5 years. When Adolfo turned 20 he was released. He had no where to go and had no money. He knew of a rich man who lived not far from the jailhouse, and decided to kill him. At exactly midnight, Adolfo went to the man's house and killed the old man. Adolfo became rich off of the man's investments. From then on Adolfo would kill anyone who had money. Adolfo killed at least 20 victims in his lifetime. While doing a tour as a Consular Officer in Matamoros in the late 90's, I had to visit one of the cult members who was a dual national and who was imprisoned in Tampico. He had become a "prison bitch," replete with long hair, nail polish, a halter top type shirt, affecting a lisping, female accent. It was one of the most disgusting things I have ever had to do.

Sexuality[edit]

For some reason this isn't included anywhere in the article or the categories. I lack the energy to integrate it into the article atm but here is some info on that.   • It is childishly easy to delete. Although I can't help but feel there is a double standard here, the article is already in the LGBT category, no citation at all how about we delete that? All I am doing is adding some specific categories to make navigation of the encyclopedia easier. There is no citation that his mother believed he predicted the attack on Reagan either (and people have noted that is an issue for half a year) no citation for his possible accomplices either. How about we delete all of that? Fortunately for the Project I am willing to spend a minute or two on Google rather than mindlessly deleting the contributions of others demanding sources and then not being satisfied with them while oddly accepting numerous uncited & unreliable statements throughout the article.
  • Consult pg 224ff of Investigating Religious Terrorism and Ritualistic Crimes by Dawn Perlmutter for citations from a published book. Good enough for you?
  • If you have some issue with specific categories that is fine, although the polite thing to do would be to discuss it on this page or possibly to just Google it, or consult the sources already referenced rather than just deleting for no reason.
  • It's not childish. It's protocol. If you are claiming someone is homosexual without a reliable source within the article, expect for someone to delete your claims until evidence is provided. It's not my job to provide the evidence. The burden of proof is on you. I didn't know the article was in the LGBT category, so there is no double standard on my part. Feel free to delete as much information as you want if there are no sources to back it up. I have the article on my Watchlist but never really gave it a look. When I saw your update, I saw that it was unsourced so I went on and deleted it. However, I did write an edit summary in order to indicate my rationale. I didn't delete the info for "no reason". If you didn't follow instructions, that's not my fault.
The publish book is great. Make sure to cite it in the article and not just claim that the evidence is there and expect for everyone else to know. I'm willing to help citing if you need any assistance. ComputerJA (☎ • ✎) 03:27, 28 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information Concerning Constanzo's Discovery and Death[edit]

Under the heading "Death" it is currently stated that "They [Constanzo and 4 others] were only discovered when police were called to the apartment because of an unrelated dispute taking place there. As the officers approached, Constanzo mistakenly believing they had located him, opened fire with a machine gun."

This information is contradicted by the more detailed account of the discovery and death in the article Murder of Mark Kilroy, which states "By the end of the week, the police concluded that the man was De León and that he was buying groceries for Constanzo. On May 6, 1989, the police surrounded the building [where Constanzo was] and waited for traffic to subside before raiding the premises. However, a black vehicle pulled up in front of the apartment complex and the police walked over to investigate. Constanzo noticed the police from the window of his apartment and opened fire at the officers who were at ground level." The contradiction lies in the statement in this current article that "an unrelated dispute" took place (presumably related to the black vehicle), whereas Murder of Mark Kilroy states the police had already determined Constanzo's location—the difference being that the discovery of Constanza's residence was not a fluke, but the result of prior investigation.   • @TrueBlueLou: — Hi, thank you for consulting the talkpage. I haven't had the chance to update this article as I did with Kilroy's, so it's partially my fault there's a contradiction here. After reading through various sources, I gathered that the majority version of the story was that Constanzo's location was discovered after an extensive police investigation (there were some cult member arrests and house raids prior to his death, plus the suspicious purchases in U.S. dollars made by El Duby). Kilroy's article has a footnote that states the minority version: that the police was in the area for an unrelated incident. I hope this clarifies the contradiction.
