Magnus Carlsson (animation)

Carlsson began his professional animation career in 1988 and has since created a range of animated films and TV series. Among these, he created "The Three Friends and Jerry" (26 half-hour episodes), which has been distributed to over 100 countries, and the TV series "Robin," featuring the titular character.

The character Robin returned in 1997 in the animation Carlsson created for the Radiohead song "Paranoid Android," for which he was nominated for several MTV Video Music Awards. The video was ranked 19th on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 100 best music videos ever produced in 2021. Carlsson also made the stop-motion animated film "Desmond & the Swamp Barbarian Trap," which premiered on November 19, 2006.

Carlsson is the creator of numerous animated TV series with international distribution, aired on channels such as MTV, Fox, HBO, Channel 4, Nickelodeon, and SVT. "Benny Pris and His Fuzzy Lip Mole" premiered in the summer of 2014 on Children's Channel, SVT. Together with Jens Ganman, Carlsson created the animated satire "So That It's Right" in 2018. Since 2020, Carlsson has primarily focused on directing music videos for the international market.
