Chetan sharma[edit]
Chetan sharma ( born December, 1994) is an Indian actor known for his works in Hindi films and series. Sharma began acting with the Romance/Comedy movie Band Baaja Baaraat [Cast of the movie 1](2010). He is known for playing Alok Giri in the Comedy/Drama movie Pagglait[1] (2021).

Early Life and Education[edit]
Chetan sharma was born into a Hindi speaking family in New Delhi, Delhi. His father Mahesh Kumar Sharma is from Jaipur district and his mother Santosh Sharma hails from Delhi. Chetan was brought up in Delhi and studied in St. Sophia's Sr. Sec. School, Delhi. He later moved to Mumbai and continued his studies from Delhi University.
Career[edit]
Chetan Sharma's acting journey began at a tender age when he took on the role of a child artist in various serials. He also gained experience in the world of theater, honing his skills on the stage in Delhi.
His first foray into the world of cinema was with the movie 'Band Baaja Baaraat,' which marked the beginning of his silver screen adventure. From there, he continued to take strides forward, leaving an indelible mark with each performance.
During his high school years, Sharma had the incredible opportunity to work alongside the talented Manoj Bajpayee in the film 'Lanka[2] (2011).' Before making the leap to Mumbai, he graced the screen in 'Ankhon Dekhi[3]' (2013), where his monologue garnered widespread acclaim, hailed as a true piece of art. In this film, he shared the screen with seasoned veterans like Sanjay Mishra, Rajat Kapoor, and Seema Pahwa, undoubtedly a formative experience for the young actor.
Mumbai beckoned, and Sharma embraced the city's vibrant entertainment industry with open arms. His first indie lead role came in the form of the movie 'Saankal[4] (2015).' Simultaneously, he ventured into the world of web series, appearing in the second season[5] of the acclaimed 'Sacred Games' (2019) and, more recently, in 'The Great Indian Weddings of Munnes[6] (2022).'
In a recent interview, Sharma recounted his experience of working with Ajay Devgn, on the sets of Bholaa (2023) revealing his awe-struck reaction upon being introduced to the legendary Tabu by the esteemed actor himself. "I Was Dumbstruck When Ajay Devgn Sir Introduced Us To Tabu ma'am[7]," he shared, encapsulating the surreal moment.
Sharma's latest cinematic offering is 'Silence 2,' (2024) a sequel to the previous 'Silence' film. This project marked his second collaboration' with the inimitable Manoj Bajpayee, further solidifying their artistic rapport. Looking ahead, Sharma's upcoming project, Attempt One,' is set to make its debut at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in 2024[8], showcasing his talent on the global stage.
