Description: While making this edit using my WMF account, it triggered an edit filter looking for email addresses ("Your edit has triggered an automated filter and has been disallowed. It looks like you're trying to add an email address to this page.") I think this is because I'm linking to wikimedia-l, and the address includes the mailing list name formatted as an email address. Reposting with my personal account worked fine. This would be the same situation as for Mastodon, perhaps it would be worth also adding a note if there's a work-around for linking to the mailing lists? Thanks. Comments: Private – One or more of the filters triggered are private, and the request needs to be evaluated by an edit filter helper or manager. I think this is a rare case that likely only affects WMF accounts or alternative accounts. It should be possible to add an exception for it, but I'm not sure it happens that often. I found only 5 attemps by WMF accounts looking back till June 2023.
